Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming and bioinformatics

Description: In this workshop, we will introduce object-oriented programming. The day will include coding instruction in Java, a seminar discussing computer science and its applications, and opportunities to network! ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN HEALTHCARE
Date: July 31st, 2020

Description: In this workshop, we will discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to improve healthcare. We will cover the history behind AI, basics of machine learning and artificial intelligence, the software packages, and some of the mathematical techniques behind the algorithms. We will explore the exciting applications of AI in healthcare ranging from robot-assisted surgery to tracking hospital wait times. Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
